Elcomsoft iOS Forensic Toolkit 10.11 adds bootloader-level extraction for the Apple Watch Series 4 and Series 5 and the second-generation Apple TV 4K. In each case the result is a full file system image and the decrypted keychain. This is the first time the low-level extraction boundary has moved past the A11 generation of Apple silicon.

Elcomsoft Quick Triage 2.2 is out. The release adds a timeline that merges events from different artifacts into a single chronology, rebuilds artifact support around a new plugin architecture, and introduces a file system snapshot as a new artifact. Password recovery, full-text search, and BitLocker key extraction were extended as well.

Elcomsoft System Recovery, a bootable digital triage tool, now offers to build you a second USB flash drive for a BitLocker exploit during installation. Version 8.38 supports two exploits this way, YellowKey and GreatXML. The release also adds checksum logging for disk images and updates the imaging library.

We are expanding our collection of free forensic tools with EIFT Firewall, a new companion application for Elcomsoft iOS Forensic Toolkit to safely sideload the low-level extraction agent. It's a macOS application that creates a temporary, controlled USB network path between the Mac and a connected evidentiary device. It runs on macOS only, and it replaces the macOS firewall script we published in 2023.

Elcomsoft Phone Breaker 11.03 ships as a universal binary for macOS, running natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. The update also restores iCloud sign-in with SMS as the second factor, and removes the pre-login 2FA status check that Apple no longer supports.

Elcomsoft Phone Breaker becomes the first and only third-party tool to successfully download iCloud backups produced with Apple's latest mobile operating systems.
